Abdifatah Abdullahi

Over the past six years, Abdifatah has cultivated extensive experience in project management within humanitarian settings in Somalia, with a strong focus on food security and livelihood programs. He has worked with both international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), successfully implementing initiatives aimed at providing critical support to vulnerable communities.

His expertise in project management encompasses the full project lifecycle, from needs assessment and program design to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This role involved collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including government entities, community organizations, and beneficiaries, to ensure that programs are responsive and sustainable. In addition to direct project management, he has honed skills in resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, effectively managing multidisciplinary teams to achieve program objectives. His work has contributed to enhancing community resilience and improving access to essential resources, thereby positively impacting food security and livelihoods in the regions served. Currently, he serves as the treasurer and a board member for the Global Humanitarian Aid and Social Development Organization. In this leadership role, he provides strategic oversight and financial management, ensuring the organization operates efficiently and ethically while maximizing its impact on the communities it serves. His commitment to humanitarian work and strong governance skills have enabled him to play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s mission to uplift and empower those in need.
